Transport and deployment. The vessel is built to ZC classification requirements and uses a detachable, container-friendly design so it can be transported by sea freight and reassembled at the project site. According to the manufacturer, this configuration was chosen to keep shipping costs down and speed up deployment on inland projects where access is limited.
With a 5,000 m³/h flow rate and 2,500-3,500 m discharge distance, the YS-CSD6014 is suited to medium and large river desilting and reservoir projects, delivering material far from the water’s edge without booster pumps in most cases.
